Kryolan FX Design Color is the revolutionary new alcohol-based make-up from Kryolan that raises the standards for professional users to a new level. The innovative formula enables ultra-fine, transparent work in layers as well as opaque color application, ideal for special effects, body paint, cosplay, and much more.

FX Design Color is waterproof, non-abrasive, non-staining, and lasts for hours. It can be used on a wide variety of surfaces, such as made-up and unmade-up skin, latex, silicone, PUR, or latex foams as well as Glatzan and Syncap (in various strengths).
This versatility makes FX Design Color the first choice for professionals and hobby artists alike.

FX Design Color Liquid is the liquid supplement to the solid base product FX Design Color and expands the possibilities for professional applications. It can be used diluted with IPA as a glaze but is particularly suitable for body paint, cosplay, and dance theatre. Like lacquer, it can be applied with a sponge or brush and is characterized by its smudge resistance and moisture resistance.
These properties make FX Design Color Liquid an indispensable tool for creative minds who value the highest quality and versatility.

Preparation:

Dispense the desired amount of paint onto a mixing palette or plate. Add as much alcohol until the liquid reaches your desired saturation. Most FX Design Color Liquids are highly opaque when undiluted. By adjusting the ratio of alcohol to paint, you can control the coverage – from fully opaque to a delicate, translucent application.

Application:

Evenly apply the mixture to the skin using a brush, sponge, or any other suitable tool, and allow it to dry completely. For a subtle shine, gently polish the paint with your hand or a dry cloth.

Tip:

For particularly durable and long-lasting results, you can use the Thin & Fix Solution as a protective clear coat.

Removal:

To remove the paint, use the FX Remover along with a warm, dampened microfiber cloth. If any paint residue remains, use a piece of soap to gently remove it. Take your time and be gentle during the removal process.

Airbrush

⚠️ Not designed for airbrush use as-is. To use in an airbrush, thin with Kryolan Thin & Fix Solution and test thoroughly before application. For ready-to-use airbrush makeup, we recommend Kryolan Nebula.
