Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills this children's face painting class is for you!
As always, at Dublin Body Paint, we are big believers in focusing on painting technique and helping you find the way to paint that suits your style, interest, skills, and ability.
We will OF COURSE show you how to paint the BIG 4:
- Spiderman
- Tiger
- Butterfly
- Princess
But there is SO much more than that. We will show you how to make each design your own, and add your own flair.

We will be starting with line & sponge work & colour combos which will lead into each look.
There is a maximum of 8 students per class.
12 - 6pm
You will be painting your own face and arms on the day, as well as using practice heads and working on reusable practice boards.

€100 total. €50 deposit to secure your place.

Who is this for?
This course is suitable from complete beginners to intermediate students.
Whether you want to work as a face painter, upskill, try out a new hobby or just want to get out of the house - this is a great place to start!
What is else is included?
You will receive a certificate of attendance for the day
You will also get notes from the day on the products and tools to take home to look back on in future.
Class Kit Required
Some paints and materials are included. I have class paints so you can try out new brands or tools to see what suits you and play with different things or colour combos etc.
Having said that - bringing your own kit is a really good idea. The class kit is finite, and there may not be enough of the brush you like to go around or you want a particular colour that isn't in the class kit etc.
We'll be talking a lot about handy things to have in your kit that can help you achieve the look you want, so you should have your own kit. It doesn't have to be big or fancy or new, but it should be clean.
You don't need to have your kit ready for start of class, you can pick up bits and pieces on the day, and I'll be explaining each product too, so it's easiest to just bring what you have to class, and build from there.
Suggested Kit
- 1 Diamond FX black
- 1 Diamond FX white
- Selection of colours of professional face paints
- 1 high density round sponge
- 1 One Stroke paint
- 1 Flat 1 inch or 5/8' or similar brush
- 1 good round brush to use as a liner brush in #3 or #2 (both would be handy for you)
- 1 petal brush
Which Course is for me?
- Children's Face Painting 1 Day Class - A great fun class that will give you enough of a grounding in painting that you can go on and practice afterwards at your own pace. Really good for people who just want to get some ideas of how to paint for the fun of it.
- Face Painting Evening Course - Goes in to a lot of depth about Children's face painting, both for working in the industry or just painting your own kids or friends/family. Only a small bit of adult face painting covered, it's really focused on Kids looks. Good for artists who want to work as professional face painters.
- Face & Body Painting Evening Course - No Children's face painting, focused on adult designs and creating cool images with paint. Good for social media content and impressing your friends. This class is always really great craic.
- Body Painting Evening Course - Focused on the art form of body painting. Very creatively focused, not ideal for total beginners. Lots of creative expression and looking at how to create an interesting image and developing a concept. How to elevate your art using colour theory and new techniques.
