Now Hiring: Personal Assistant

Written by: Caitríona Giblin
Date: April 7, 2026

Location: In-person in the shop/office in Shankill Business Centre, D18 N1N2
Hours: Approx. 4–6 hours per week
Pay: From €15 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

Dublin Body Paint is looking for a reliable and organised Personal Assistant to support day-to-day admin and operations.

This is a small-hours, in-person role designed to support a busy creative business. The work is primarily administrative, with some flexibility depending on the strengths of the person in the role.

The position would suit someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys organising and keeping things on track, and is happy to work in a creative, slightly non-traditional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and replying to emails and general correspondence
  • Creating and sending invoices
  • Keeping track of orders and follow-ups
  • Supporting basic admin and organisational tasks
  • Assisting with scheduling and task management
  • Light book keeping (using a spreadsheet)
  • Monitoring and responding to messages (including social media, where required)

Additional Aspects of the Role

There is also an element of supporting ongoing projects by helping to organise ideas, plan tasks, and keep things moving forward. This may involve discussing plans, helping to prioritise work, and providing general administrative support to bring ideas into action.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic computer systems
  • Good written communication (clear, polite, and confident)
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Comfortable working in-person (this is not a remote role)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience in admin, PA, or similar roles
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Interest in creative industries, makeup, or events
  • Confidence in communicating with clients and following up when needed

Working Style

This role requires someone who can bring structure and consistency to a busy environment, while also being adaptable and practical.

The work is varied but not overly complex - attention to detail, good judgement, and the ability to stay on top of tasks are more important than specific industry experience.

Additional Information

  • The role will typically be split across two days per week
  • Hours may vary slightly depending on workload
  • This is an in-person role only

How to Apply

Please send a short introduction or CV or whatever you have along with any relevant experience to:

[email protected]

Applications should briefly outline your background, availability, and why you feel suited to this type of role.

Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. Anyone I already know personally will be ineligible, it's just important for me to keep things separate.

About Dublin Body Paint

This is a very open minded, non judgemental and safe space, so we welcome applications from all gender expressions, sexual identities, disabilities etc. All applicants must also be similarly minded.

Maintaining the right energy in the space is very important in this tiny company. We're looking for someone sound, and up for a laugh, but who is also a ninja at their job.

"I have ADHD, so I have my own systems and ways of doing things that may not be typical. So, I want someone who isn't going to tip toe around me, or hold a grudge, or not talk to me if I make a mistake. It's important we're all on the same side."
