Location: In-person in the shop/office in Shankill Business Centre, D18 N1N2
Hours: Approx. 4–6 hours per week
Pay: From €15 per hour (depending on experience)
Dublin Body Paint is looking for a Content & Studio Assistant to help create content, support workshops and classes, and generally help keep a small creative business moving.
This role would suit someone who is creative, practical, organised, and spends a bit too much time online. You don't need to be a makeup artist, face painter, or influencer, but you do need to understand social media and feel comfortable filming and editing content.
Dublin Body Paint is a specialist makeup and body art store based in Shankill, Co. Dublin.
We supply professional face and body paints, special effects makeup, theatrical products, glitter, temporary tattoos, airbrush supplies, festival accessories, and creative tools. We also run classes, workshops, photoshoots, and creative events throughout the year.
No two weeks are quite the same.
This role would suit someone local to South Dublin who is looking for flexible part-time work.
You do not need:
We can teach you the all of that stuff.
We're much more interested in finding someone with good instincts, curiosity, initiative and a creative eye.
This is not an influencer role.
You won't be expected to be the face of the business, and follower counts are not important to us.
We're looking for someone who understands content, enjoys creating it, and can help us show the creative work that is already happening in the studio.
Please complete the application form below.
We'd much rather see your Instagram, TikTok, portfolio or personal content than a polished CV, so please include links to any social media accounts you'd like us to look at.
Follower counts don't matter.
We're interested in how you create content, tell stories, and communicate ideas.
Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. Anyone I already know personally will be ineligible, it's just important for me to keep things separate.
About Dublin Body Paint
This is a very open minded, non judgemental and safe space, so we welcome applications from all gender expressions, sexual identities, disabilities etc. All applicants must also be similarly minded.
Maintaining the right energy in the space is very important in this tiny company. We're looking for someone sound, and up for a laugh, but who is also a ninja at their job.
"I have ADHD, so I have my own systems and ways of doing things that may not be typical. So, I want someone who isn't going to tip toe around me, or hold a grudge, or not talk to me if I make a mistake. It's important we're all on the same side."
