Photographers will be given a small area to take photos from at the Irish Body Painting Festival. You are welcome to bring your own backdrops, lights, etc, space permitting.
You will be given a reasonable amount of space. If we have additional space on the day, you are welcome to use it. We are space dependent on the number of artists signed up for the competition, so we should have more specific information closer to the day if you need to check with us then.
If you are part of a camera club and a group of you would like to share a space/setup, we can provide you with a reduced price per person. Please contact us directly on firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
On the day there will be performers, drag, burlesque & boylesque, bodypaint and makeup artists doing demos, hair and wig stylists, along with the competitors creating their amazing body art, and the show in the evening.
You are welcome to take photos throughout the day, but the first competitors are finishing at 2pm so that's when the main shoots will begin.
We will have 2 of our own photographers capturing the art work, so you are free to create the images in your mind's eye with the models available.
We would ask that you send the images back to us here at Dublin Body Paint to send out to the models and artists after the event in a timely manner.
To register your interest please sign the form here: https://goo.gl/forms/6LTOKMPkK7OWMJmJ2
We will ask for some background info on you or links to prove your experience. This is because we need to protect our models, so if we don't know you personally then you may need to provide some evidence that you're a cool person who we'd love to work with. Anyone acting the maggot on the day, or speaking unpleasantly towards the models will be asked to leave, and will not be refunded. We have a strict ZERO TOLERANCE on any form of body shaming, so if you only like to take photos of a particular body type then you are in the wrong place. We all just want to have a nice time and we don't want anyone to go home feeling badly about themselves. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch for a further chat.
If you don't sign the form, but show up on the day, you will not be admitted, since we didn't have the opportunity to do this background check on you.
