This February come and paint with us! We will teach you everything you need to know to get you started on your creative journey.
Each day will run from 10 to 5pm. We will do all our theory and demos in the morning, and have the practical hands on time with a model in the afternoon.
Each look will combine a number of techniques and skills to try to squeeze as much as possible in to the weekend.
You will learn how you can achieve the best artistry and skills during these workshops and with small class sizes and each tutor teaching their own techniques and strengths, you will really get a one on one experience. This course is suitable from complete beginners to intermediate students.
Tutors/artists Orlagh Gilsenan (Irish body painting champion 2013) and Caitríona Giblin (Irish makeup artist of the year 2019) are currently working in the industry face & body painting. Both have competed in the World Body Painting Festival in Austria multiple times. They have studied the art of face & body painting both here and abroad for many years and are happy to share their knowledge with you.
Over the weekend course, we’ll be covering the following:
Brush and sponge techniques
Airbrush and stencils introduction
Blending and contouring
Composition and concept development
Colour theory, and colour mixing.
Accessories and finishing touches
Tips on what you should have in your kit
You will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
