Pixie Paint from Amerikan Body Art is a blend of chunky and fine glitters along with our aloe glitter gel base. You can paint it on the face, body, and hair. It's perfect for Glitter Roots, cute Pixie-ish accents on the cheeks, and extreme coverage for dance clubs or festival body painting. Pixie Paint tends to stay put all day, with very little fallout, but can be easily washed off with water.
DO NOT use this product on eyelids or very close to eyes. Chunky glitters are designed for special effects, and are not considered safe to use as eye makeup. Avoid use on very small children if there is a danger of them rubbing the glitter into their eyes.
We are a small family-run business, based in Melbourne, Florida. I started out as a henna body art and airbrush tattoo artist in 2002. It seemed like a great way to help the family make ends meet, while staying home to raise and homeschool our children. Very early in my career, I began teaching classes to other artists. Seeing how difficult it was for face and body artists to find safe professional quality supplies, I started selling products. The Amerikan Body Art online shop was launched in 2004.
Since then, my sons have all started working for me, helping to fill and label bottles, and ship orders. Even though we've grown from a simple retail operation, to what we are today, we still consider ourselves a boutique manufacturer/ distributor. We do everything by hand, in small batches. This allows us to respond more quickly to the changing industry, to keep our prices low, and to be certain that we are only distributing the highest quality products.
