Who are we?
We are a one stop shop for all your body painting needs.
We are available for Corporate events, promo videos, photoshoots, private appointments, festivals, hen parties – you name it!
After many years of studying we have created face and body painting courses which are one of a kind in Ireland. Our courses focus on giving students the basic techniques and training to allow them to progress with their art and enjoy the process.
We run a specialist Irish face and body painting shop that sells only the best product in the industry. We’re complete nerds when it comes to the newest and best body paint item to have in your kit. In saying that, we have sourced everything from paints and brushes, to microfibre cloths and the best glitter gels. All tried and tested by us so have a browse, and if you have any questions just ask!
The Dublin Body Painting Jams were set up to grow and support the Irish Body Painting community. At our body painting jams, we match up artists and models for a day of art, chats, tea, and cake. Photographers are invited to join us to capture this transient art form on the day. This is a celebration of the body, in a non-judgemental and safe environment. You are beautiful just as you are, and we would like to invite you to create some art as part of our community.
After winning the Irish Body Painting Competition in 2013, Orlagh Gilsenan decided she wanted to make this her full time job. She has trained in Austria, the UK and Ireland, and with a lot of practise was ready to launch her body painting career!
She has been working as a body painter since 2014 and has built up a great repertoire within the industry. She became the rep for Cameleon paints in Ireland. When she started teaching her courses freelance in colleges around Ireland and Northern Ireland she realised there was a gap in the market for professional body paint courses. This is when herself and Caitríona joined companies to become Dublin Body Paint.
Caitríona made a decision to become a body painter after she was made redundant during the crash. She founded the Dublin Body Paint Jam and created a community for like minded people to paint, model and photograph. Caitriona has been working as a full time body painter since 2014 and has been commissioned to work for big names such as Disney & Lir. She became the rep for Bams stencils in Ireland in 2016. Caitríona and Orlagh joined up in 2017 to create a one stop shop for working, teaching and selling everything related to body painting.
